Refund Policy

A Legal Disclaimer

W&J Property Services – Refund Policy

 

Effective Date May 4, 2026

 

At W&J Property Services, we are committed to delivering high-quality work and clear communication with every client. Please read our refund policy carefully before booking services.

 

1. Non-Refundable Services

Once you have formally instructed us to proceed with any work **or** once work has commenced, **no refunds** will be issued. This includes:

- Labor already performed

- Materials purchased or ordered specifically for your project

- Any travel or preparation time incurred

 

2. Pre-Payments / Deposits

For certain jobs, we may require a deposit or partial payment before work begins.  

- This deposit is **fully refundable** if you cancel **before** work commences.  

- To cancel and request a refund of your deposit, you must notify us **in writing** (email is acceptable) at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date.  

- Deposits become non-refundable once work has started or materials have been purchased/ordered for your specific project.

 

3. Cancellations

- **More than 48 hours** before the scheduled start date: Full refund of any deposit paid.  

- **Less than 48 hours** before the scheduled start date: We reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the deposit to cover scheduling and preparation costs.  

- **On the day of service or after work has begun:** No refund will be issued.

 

4. Special Circumstances

We will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis only in situations involving:

- Documented emergencies (e.g., serious illness, death in the family)

- Our inability to complete the agreed work due to circumstances beyond your control

 

All exception requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and will be reviewed within 5 business days.

 

5. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be made in writing via email.  

Please include:

- Your full name and phone number

- Job / Invoice number

- Reason for cancellation

- Preferred refund method (original payment method will be used where possible)

 

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
